Happy Monday! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. I cannot believe how fast we are just breezing on through July! It’s been crazy busy over in the (Future) Servello household, but I have a few exciting posts for the week. To start off with today, I have a this boho-ish tye dye dress that can not only be worn out and about, but as a swim cover up as well. I’m typically a a neutrals girl, but the sleeves on this dress and the fact it’s double lined, had me sold. I’ve never really been one to wear blue pieces, but lately I’ve been reaching for them! From this navy jumpsuit, these culottes pants and the dress in today’s look, I’m just going to be caught in navy all the time now, haha.

Back to this dress – I mentioned above that it is double lined which is something I always jump for joy for. I have realized that when a dresses isn’t lined, I just avoid wearing it. I suppose it’s because I haven’t found a slip that’s truly universal to wear under any dress shape, fit and length.

I also love that it’s versatile. We have a pool at our apartment and since we live near so many great restaurants, I find that S and I will go grab lunch mid day or need 😉 to have an ice cream break in the afternoon! Having a cute dress that you can throw on over your bikini that is appropriate for running around town is a huge plus.

And then we have the sleeves! Between the bell sleeves and tye dye print, this is of course a 70’s inspired little frock. If a dress is short, I’ll try to opt for sleeves or a jean jacket to balance out the look. If a dress is short sleeves, I’ll opt for something a tad longer or like I mentioned previously, throw on a layer. The sleeves on this dress make it so that no thinking is required to create a balanced look to get out the door!

If tye dye isn’t your style, the same dress is available in ivory and black here.

Thanks so much for reading! Stop by later this week for a Wedding Wednesday post and a look featuring some shorts that are on sale! Xo Mindy
