How are we already entering July?!Β This is certainly one of my favorite months of the year because it’s prime weather in New England with so many ways to enjoy it!

And of course, we all love the 4th of July, right? When it comes to dressing for any holiday, I like up leveling pieces you can rewear throughout the year. So rather than wearing a piece that screams 4th of July that you wear one day a year, I like mixing and matching pieces that play of the red, white and blue hues or something that pops off the time of year in a subtle way, like blue and white stripes or a graphic tee with little stars. More bang for your buck!

Today I’m sharing four outfits with pieces you probably already have i your closet πŸ™‚

4TH OF JULY OUTFIT IDEAS

LOOK 1: SIMPLE TANK, DENIM SHORTS WITH FESTIVE ACCESSORIES

You probably have this entire look already in your closet! If you are interested in my exact sources, I’ll break it down for you πŸ™‚

Headbands and bandanas are all a hug trend right now and I’m all for it! They add the cutest detailing. My exact red, white and blue bandana is from a few years ago, but I linked a bunch of cute ones below. I’ve found that this retailer has the best selection of headbands and they don’t break the bank. And this retailer has great bandanas!

For the tanks, I’m wearing and love this kind because they are double lined, the perfect length, run true to size and come in a lot of prints and colors!

These are the exact shorts I’m wearing and they are worth every penny. While they are an investment, you will always reach for them and they last year over year. I’d rather have four really great pairs of shorts than 12 “meh” pairs. The length isn’t too short, not too long. The rise is great and they don’t stretch out. I just grabbed this wash too! I went up one size.

LOOK 2: BLUE + WHITE STRIPE DRESS WITH A RED LIP

Every girl has a blue and white striped dress in their closet, so throw that on with a red lip. You’re festive real quick and ultra comfy!

If you’re looking for a pretty maxi for next weekend, you can’t go wrong with this one. It’s so pretty! I suggest going down one size.

LOOK 3: SIMPLE RED TEE WITH DENIM SKIRT

When it doubt, throw on a red tee and comfy denim skirt! This would be super cute for any town parades πŸ™‚

My exact skirt is from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale last year, but here is one by the same brand that look exact and 58% off.

If you have little kids or will be sitting on the ground for any fireworks, just swap the skirt with white denim shorts. If you’re looking for white shorts, these are my fave because rise is flattering, leg openings are moderate and they aren’t sheer.. I went up too sizes for a boyfriend fit.

Also, this drugstore red lipstick is THE BEST. I’ve used it for over five years and there is nothing that compares. It has blue undertones so it makes your teeth extra white. Here it is at Ulta too.

LOOK 4: WHITE + BLUE STAR TEE OR STRIPE TEE AND RED EARRINGS

How cute is this tee from Loft? I actually grabbed it last year for the Fouth, but any stripe tee will do! Or you can order online and opt for ‘in store pickup’ for all these star options they currently have!

Now that you have white and blue down, grab a red statement earring and you’re good to go.

These shorts are so cute and ultra high waited.. perfect for tucking in tees! Go up one size so they are more loose on your thighs.

LOOK 4: FESTIVE CREWNECK

And when all else fails or the temps dip at night, throw on a red, white and blue crewneck! Mine is by this brand and do soft! Stop by Target or Walmart and they will more than likely have USA ones πŸ™‚
