ann-taylor-Bi-Stretch-Suit-review-900-8 Let’s chat interviews. If you’re new around here, I’ve worked in Corporate America for over six years after obtaining my business degree and have had my fair share of interviews. Due to this, many readers often reach out asking for advice on how to craft a journey into a marketing career, business wear questions and of course, prepping for an interview! While the interview process can surely be intimidating, you do have control over some aspects, like how well you prepare and how you present yourself. I feel that you can never be overdone for either! A key part of presenting yourself is not only your skill set, attitude, communication skills and personality, but also how you dress. I’m a firm believer in the old saying “Dress for the job you want, not the one you have”, especially when it comes to interviews. You have a very limited amount of time to leave a lasting impression on people that just met you, so presentation is a way to stand out from the competition. While there are many options for interview wear, you can’t go wrong with the traditional route – a suit! That said, women suits don’t have the best reputation, right? They are often uncomfortable, masculine and unflattering… as if they were crafted for a man. I felt the same until I discovered Ann Taylor’ Bi-Stretch suits for women, which I’ve styled for you today! Whether you’re looking for a new suit for your next interview or just in need of timeless work slacks or a chic blazer for the office, I’ve got ya covered! ann-taylor-Bi-Stretch-Suit-review-900-2 ann-taylor-Bi-Stretch-Suit-review-900-14 ann-taylor-Bi-Stretch-Suit-review-900-16 ANN TAYLOR BI-STRETCH SUIT REVIEW You guys know that if it’s not comfortable, I’m not wearing it. This goes for shoes, hair styles, knit tees, work wear – anything! Ann Taylor’s Bi-Stretch suits were made with comfort top of mind. They feature a four-way stretch that moves with you and hold it’s shape. The result? A polished, chic and comfortable look. Plus, you can mix and match tops with pants and skirts. If you prefer a pencil skirt, you could easily swap out the Classic Pants featured in today’s look for this sophisticated pencil skirt. The pieces I’m wearing today are in the hue ‘Ping Needle Green’ which is so stunning, but there are many other fall prints and colors available as well. I found that both the blazer and Classic Pants run true to size. Accessories are where you can let your personality really shine! I topped off the look with a pair of classic black pumps [go up 1/2 a size] and layered on this chic bow tank which adds the perfect touch of femininity to the pantsuit [go down one size]. That said, if you’re personality is more spunky you can totally add ins some fun texture or prints like these polka dot wedges or this leopard blouse. Either would be classy and polished, but fun! For jewelry, I reached for dainty gold studs and a stunning, yet simple gold necklace. How would you style this suit? Tell me in the comments!
