Stuart Weitzman Lowland Over-the-Knee Boots Review

STUART WEITZMAN LOWLAND OVER-THE-KNEE BOOTS REVIEW STUART WEITZMAN LOWLAND OVER-THE-KNEE BOOTS REVIEW

When I find an outfit I really love, I will wear it nonstop. This season I’m certainly an outfit repeater with this get up. I love each piece.. to pieces!

My favorite part are these over-the-knee boots. I had eyed them for years and finally a couple years ago, invested in them. Now that I’ve worn them hundreds of times, I knew a review was due.

Before I ever invest in a designer item, I scour online for any review I can find from people I trust. If you’ve ever considered adding the Stuart Weitzman Lowland Over-the-Knee boots, I hope this review is helpful!

STUART WEITZMAN LOWLAND OVER-THE-KNEE BOOTS REVIEW

Colors: The Lowland currently comes in four colors: black, light beige, slate and taupe. All four are beautiful and versatile neutrals. I opted for the black as I thought I’d get the most use of this color. I also figured that they’d be the easiest to maintain since I live in New England.

Most retailers only sell the black suede that I own, but if you’re interested in the other three hues you can buy directly from Stuart Weitzman.

Style: The Stuart Weitzman Lowland is a pull-on style suede boot that has a 1″ block heel. The suede is stretchy from a material known as lycra which is found in leggings. This allows allows the boot to be comfortable and mold to your unique leg and foot! Inside, there is a satin material to allow the boot to easily slide on and off.

One of the largest selling point of this OTK boot is that unlike look-a-likes, the Lowland shaft doesn’t fall down through wear. After putting them on, they ill stay up with jeans, knee high nylon stockings, tights, leggings or bare!

Wear: I’ve found that the easiest way to get in and out of the boot is by folding down the shaft. Once you fold the shaft down to the foot of the boot, getting your foot in is simple.

On the back of the leg, there are the Lowland’s signature strings that can be tied into a bow or just double knot to help the boots stay in place. You don’t need to tie them all that tight as the stretchy suede keep them in place well on it’s own!

Sizing: I suggest going up half of a size. At first, I ordered my typical size of 8.5, but they were super tight at the sides of my toes and also difficult to get on and off. OnceI exchanged for a 9, they fit perfectly!

Comfort: As long as you buy a half size up, you won’t really find any discomfort. No breaking in is needed!

Purchase: You can shop these from major retailers like Nordstrom or ShopBop. The great thing is that both stores have free shipping and free returns! If you need to exchange sizes or decide that they just aren’t for you, just send them back with no questions asked.

You can of course also purchase in-store or online directly from Stuart Weitzman, especially if you want a colors other than black!

How to score them at a discount?
Designer items like these boots are hardly ever discounted. That said, you can score them typically during the ShopBop 20% off sale that happens each Spring and fall. Keep an eye out as sizes go fast once the sale launches!

I purchased mine a few years ago during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. Since then though, the Lowland boot has never been included, but it may be offered again in the future!
