I wanted to dive into one piece a tad deeper – J.CREW’S CAMERON SLIM CROP PANT.
This time last year I discovered the best black slacks EVER. From college internships to my current corporate American marketing job, I have owned a countless number of classic black slacks. Some are ill fitting. Some stretch out. Some are so uncomfortable. Some are too short. Some fade after a few wash. Black slacks have really been my work wear headache.
Express’ hemlines were the death of my wallet in college. They came unsown after four washes. Loft’s are more affordable and I do like the fit, but fade the colors fade after time. And basically any other brand inside Nordstrom all the way to Kohls, I’ve tried and they stretch out or are a horrible unflattering fit.
If you work in an office, I highly suggest J.CREW’S CAMERON SLIM CROP PANT.
While they cost a pretty penny, they will last [I’ve had mine over a year and they still look brand new] and are worth every one if you live in black slacks. I have an entire review of them HERE. I’m wearing the cropped length [which are still ‘long’ compared to other ‘crop’ styles] but they also come in a regular length.
