Denim skirts feel nostalgic to me. They were one of my favorite pieces to wear all through high school and college, but having since retired my Hollister skirts for being a bit too short for my current life chapter 😆 , I finally found the perfect one! I’ve ordered too many denim skirts to count, only to return them right after opening the box. Some were the right length, but wrong rise while others had the opposite result.

This denim skirt was on sale a couple months ago and I figured I’d try it out since it’s by one of my favorite denim brands. Well – it’s a keeper! I have styled it for summer and now today I wanted to share a transitional outfit that can take you through fall. My readership has girls from all over the country so I felt that this look was realistic for NorthEast unpredictable forecasts [50 last week, 85 today] and my ladies in the South that want to dress for the season and temps. It’s on sale here too!

This duster cardigan is so lovely! It comes in over ten colors and under $70. While the price tag is a splurge, it is worth every penny because the material isn’t bulky and it will bring you through every season. Honestly, you could wear it exactly as is for spring, summer and fall since it’s so lightweight and the mules are peep toes.

For winter and fall’s chillier days, I’d throw on black skinny jeans, wool hat and flowy cami.
I also love that the material is really lightweight and not bulky. It just flows and doesn’t cling to denim, cotton or your body.

Also I found this crossbody recently that is such a great dupe for my Louis Vuitton Pochette Metis. It is a similar color, being a dark brownish cognac, but the structure is super similar! It’s only $50 🙂
