PERFECT KNIT MIDI DRESS

Oh boy! Let’s chat midi dresses, shall we?!

I’m not usually a midi dress girl because they tend to swallow me up, even with long legs! I find that maxi/midis often overtake more petite women, but even for someone that is all legs I struggle finding ones that are flattering.

I love this one because:

• It has a side slit which makes walking easy. Some midi dresses are tight from bodice through bottom which is fine, but I’ll definitely not wear them as much.
• If you go up one size, it just skims your body rather than gluing to your every inch like a traditional bodycon.
• Due to the two notes above, it’s so comfy! On a 65* day a few weekend ago, I wore this to grocery shop with S. I felt put together, but oh so cozy.
• The neckline is also modest which I enjoy. While I don’t have much “up there”, I like to point that out for my bustier readers! It is a curved V neck, but doesn’t dip super low.
• Do you own anything in this color?! The dusty teal is so unique and honestly versatile. It also comes in a gorgeous mustard which is flattering on any complexion from super dark to super porcelain. Both hues will transition you from Spring, through summer and into fall with a slight change in accessories.

How would you style this ribbed midi dress? I opted to layer on my favorite denim jacket because New England’s Spring can dip in an instant! It’s such a beautiful, classic denim and breaks in so easily. I’ve had mine for SIX years! After that much wear year round, it’s so comfy because broken in denim is the best.
