Happy Friday! What are your plans for the weekend? We are headed to Kennebunkport, Maine this weekend for our annual college besties trip. We’ve been doing this for seven years! One of our best friends has a summer home there and his family is always sweet enough to let us have it for a weekend. I cannot wait for friend time, Tito’s and Bennet’s chicken tenders 🙂 Yaaaas!

To kick off the weekend, I wanted to chat about shoes because… why not?! The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is still going strong and I’m surprised by the amount of cute shoes still in stock. I’m going to break down five of the cutest ones for you!

4 CUTE FROM THE NORDSTROM ANNIVERSARY SALE

1: LEOPARD FLATS
I’ve worn these chic flats so many times in the past two weeks! From leggings and cardigans in the AC to summer dresses, I’ve bene finding they go with so many things in my closet. I like that the sole is cushioned and he pointed toe elongates your legs. They’re under $100 and fully in stock. I suggest going up half a size!

For all my work girls, I love how these flats spice up an ordinary pair of black work slacks too. 

2: TORY BURCH RIDING BOOTS
A closet staple in my book! I purchased my Tory Burch riding boots three NSale’s go and they are still in perfect condition. The leather ages beautifully and they only get comfier with every wear.

I wear my black pair with leggings all fall and winter long! Brown works perfectly with denim jeans as styled to the right.

For now, brown is still in stock in all sizes.

3: HUNTER BOOTS
If you’ve ever wanted a cute pair of rainboots, now is the time. Hunter boots typically cost $150, but right now you’ll get them for $99.

You’ll also get so much use beyond just rainy days. I wear them in the winter for shoveling with thick socks and with leggings in the fall.

I recommend the Tour hunter Boots because they are so much lighter than the original. They are also much more flexible material and in turn, much easier to pack when traveling.

I have this exact matte black pair, but the gloss is on sale is also on sale if you prefer that! I went down an entire size.

4: TORY BURCH FLATS
A closet staple for any girl that works in an office is a black flat. When I first started in Corporate America, I was running through $30 Old Navy flats like no tomorrow. Not only that, they killed my feet because there was no cushion of support!

S actually surprised me with my first pair of Tory Burch flats which was so sweet. Actually, they were in my first blog post back in 2014! They are a gorgeous snake print and I still wear them all the time on the weekend and the office to add a pop of personality and texture to my outfits. Not only that, but they are in perfect condition five years later!

That shows that while these flats are an investment, they last a long time! Since then, I have purchased a pair in black too. They make traveling to Denver for work easy because I only need to pack one pair of office shoes since they go with every outfit.
