Primer: c/o YSL I Foundation: Benefit I Dark Circle Concealer: Maybelline I Highlighter: Benefit I Cuticle Oil: Essie I Pallet: Urban Decay I Leg Tanner: Sally Hansen I Gloss: Stila

If there’s a Heaven on Earth, I firmly believe it is either this or Sephora. Standing in front of 37 different YSL lipstick colors makes me one happy girl. Poor S has spent more sitting on a bench in the mall hallway more than any man should. I’ve been so excited about some beauty products I’ve discovered this summer, I just had to share!

1. Prep

Many times the littlest details, make the biggest difference. Make up is no different. Sometimes I’m tempted to snag a new exciting Stila lip gloss, instead of a primer [that’s not as fun to experiment with!]. Then I always remember how much better my make up looks and how much longer it lasts thorough out the day when I do use a primer. Influenster sent this pretty little thing my way, and omg it’s amazing! Pricey? Yes. Worth every penny? Yes. This primer is different than any other because it burs our imperfections. Say bye, bye to fine lines and bumps. Plus my skin feel so smooth!
2. Cover Up
I’ll be honest – I’m not a foundation wear-er. I hate nothing more than feeling like I’m wearing a heavy, caked-on mask. I’m also very weary of anything I apply on my skin. Lately I’ve been wanting more coverage at times for formal events and blog photos. Little did I know, this foundation has the constancy of a tinted moisturizer, but more coverage. I love that it is oil-free and has UV protection as well (never can have enough). [shade: honey]
For all 24 years of my existence, I never once worried about dark circles under my eyes. Until now. Apparently working a full time job, plus blogging (another FT job), maintaining a social life, and getting in some spin time will form these dark craters on the bottom of your eyes. After giving myself a pep talk [trying to convince myself this is not a sign of aging] I came across this amazing under eye concealer. It doubles as a highlighter as well and I’m in love. If you can’t get extra sleep, you mine as well make it look like you did! [shade: neutralizer]
3. Glow
I’ve been on the hunt for a perfect highlighter for quite some time. Any brand I tried was on one end of the spectrum – either no highlight at all or I looked like I was off to a beauty pageant (eeek!). When one of my favorite blogger’s raved about this one, I knew I had to try it. And I’m oh so happy I did! The stick makes for a quick, simple application and the champagne color looks amazing on any complexion. After applying to my cheekbones, nose bridge, and cupids bow, I simply blend with my contour brush.
4. Moisten
We can’t forget about our nails! Nothing is worse than a chipped manicure and dry cuticles. Cuticle oil is a necessity. When used daily, the life of my mani and pedi is much longer. Te apricot scent is so yummy! Side note – I’m totally loving this Essie Marshmallow polish and this OPI ‘Mod About You’. Both are perfect for summer.
5. Enhance
After purchasing this pallet a year ago, I haven’t touched any other eye shadows. From a highlighter, to smokey eye, to liner, I use the varying shades every day. It is SO versatile and the pigmentation is great.
6. Color
Okay we chatted about self tanner a couple weeks ago, but there is one thing I didn’t mention.. I don’t ever use it on my legs! I think the color is too concentrated and sucks up into my hair cuticles which makes my legs look weird. I’ve been using Sally Hansen’s Leg Make Up all summer [from the Bella Vox Box]. I don’t even leave the house to run errands without it. All the imperfections are covered and my running legs look slimmer ;-).
7. Shine
Every girl needs a basic go-to gloss. A light pink or nude is our best bet. From weddings, to work, or errands, this pretty little tube will get you through. Stila glosses are my fav! [shade: kitten]

What a lovely roundup! I'm totally guilty of not moisturising and prepping my skin and hands though 🙁
