This year is our first holiday sending out Christmas cards! I’ve been wanting to do this for years, but always figured it’d best best saved for when we get engaged/married, so with that this year was our first! I had our cards stacked, labeled, stamped and ready to go mid-November, but S suggested I pump the brakes and wait until December to send them out, haha! I was just so excited so December 1st they were shipped out. It’s been so fun receiving holiday cards from our friends too. I need to find a cute card tree to display them!
If you remember this post, you know that Minted is a personal favorite for all things artworks. From living room statement pieces to wedding invites and to gallery wall prints to unique holiday cards, Minted has it all. For holiday cards, I think they really stand out from the rest because their selection is curated from indie artists all over the world. Whether you have a traditional taste or are looking for something a bit different, their artists style all vary so much that there really is something for everyone.
While browsing though designs this season, S and I really enjoyed the gold foil designs and opted for the curved corners for a bit more of a finished touch. You can really keep them as basic as you want or opt for the premium options like a color/design on the back of the card, varying envelope colors and my favorite – foiled letters!
Oh and with Minted, you receive free envelope printing on every card order. You simply upload a spreadsheet of addresses for family and friends and Minted will print them for you on each envelope. This is such a time saver! I actually totally forgot about this option since we went back and forth on what engagement photo we were using. I actually really enjoyed writing out the addresses though. S and I spent a night together where I wrote out the addresses and he licked the envelope shut [with only one papercut to show for it! 😉 He’s such a great sport.]. It was fun to go through our list of loved ones because it brought up a lot of conversation about them too. S’ family is so huge [he’s Italian], so I was like “Which second cousin is this again?!” many times haha.
If you need to order your holiday cards, you can receive 15% off orders of $150+ and 10% off orders of $100+ with code SENDCARDS. You’ll want to order by 12/12 in order to get your cards delivered to your doorstep by 12/20.
Have you sent your holiday cards out yet?! I can’t believe it’s two weeks until Christmas! Xoxo Mindy
