Drop Waist Spring Dress

Hi babes! Happy Monday.

I hope you had a fun and relaxing weekend. S and I completed our four week pre-marriage counseling program and are happy to have that checked off our wedding checklist. We really enjoyed Pre-Cana and can’t believe how quickly the weeks flew by! While it may only be the start of the week, I already have next weekend on my mind! We’re heading to Portland, Maine for a couple vendor visits including cake tasting. Even before we got engaged, S mentioned that cake tasting will be my favorite part of marriage prep. He’s definitely right and I can’t wait to eat cake for breakfast haha! We’re also visiting our reception location to decide on linens and having a food tasting with our caterer. Woo!

Now on to this outfit. When I saw this dress at the mall last week, I knew it’d be such an easy dress for spring. Just throw it on and go. No thought needed! Drop waist dresses are my favorite because the look good on woman of all shapes and sizes. It does run large, so go down at least one size. To play off the bright colored stitching, I paired it with fuchsia pom pom earrings. Who else wants pom pom everything this season?! They make any outfit so cutesy and fun. I knew these block heel sandals were the perfect final touch since they are not only the comfiest heel ever, but are the perfect neutral hue. I paired them with a floral pant yesterday here as well.
