Thank you VOVETI for sponsoring this post. Elevate your entertaining this Spring & Summer with VOVETI Prosecco!
Hi friends! With our wedding being officially only four months away, we’ve been gifted some gorgeous, thoughtful pieces that are perfect for serving friends like these gold highball glasses. I love playing hostess for the evening and always jump on an opportunity to have friends over to catch up or celebrate life milestones, so S and I try to always have bubbly on deck. With marrying an Italian, our bubbly of choice is prosecco of course.
I love VOVETI Prosecco because it has the perfect balance of dryness and fruitiness, plus it has more bubbles than a standard bubbly! The name VOVETI is inspired by the Latin verb voveo, which means “to vow” or “to promise.” Representing this vow are two orange rings, intertwined on the bottle. The rings represent the harmonious marriage of classic Italian winemaking and modern luxurious taste. So cute, right? With my love of hosting and interior design, we have a bar cart in our home so when a bottle looks as sleek as the VOVETI bottle, I’m even more partial to the brand.
When I put together cocktails, I also make sure the ingredients are high quality – fresh, natural and low sugar. That’s why below you will see I opt for fresh squeezed fruit juice, rather than preservative and sugar-packed store bought juice and honey instead of refined sugar. Also, the health benefit os grapefruit and lemon are huge, so I like to think it counterbalances alcohol, ha!
Below you will find the recipes for my two favorite cocktails: a Sparkling Grapefruit Thyme Mimosa and Bubbly Raspberry Lemonade Mimosa. I share my serving pieces at the bottom of this post. Xo Mindy
SPARKLING GRAPEFRUIT THYME MIMOSA
1/4 cup freshly squeezed grapefruit juice
3/4 cup Voveti Prosecco
2 teaspoons honey (optional)
1 thyme twig for garnish
Directions: Squeeze grapefruit with a citrus squeezer to get 1/4 cup juice (per drink). Optionally, mix in two teaspoons of honey or to taste. Pour in 3/4 cup Voveti Prosecco and garnish with a twig of thyme.
RASPBERRY LEMONDROP MIMOSA
1/4 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
3/4 cup Voveti Prosecco
3 raspberries
Directions: Squeeze lemon with a citrus squeezer to get 1/4 cup juice (per drink). Pour in 3/4 cup Voveti Prosecco. Top off with three fresh raspberries and mint leaves.

I remember the first time I tried a mimosa – I was obsessed. I then proceeded to make them for my mom, my boyfriend, and my best friend, claiming they were the best drink ever. Of course, at the time, I was just barely 21 and using cheap champagne and gross, pulpy orange juice haha! Goodness am I glad that times have changed. I’ll definitely need to try out your recipes using Voveti. The raspberry lemondrop especially sounds divine!
