Getting Energized with Dunkin’ Donuts

Raise your hand if you surround your day with coffee! I love waking up to the smell. I love sipping on it while crossing off my to-do list in the morning and I most definitely love my daily Dunkin’ Donuts caffeine run.

While I have many traits and habits from my father, one of the most favorites is my love for coffee – more specifically Dunkin’ Donuts. I’ve held that pink and orange logo in my hand for over a decade! I have so many special family memories tied to it. Starting while I was young, my dad would treat me to a hot chocolate or tea while he ordered his morning Great One while moving through the drive thru line while running errands with him on Saturday mornings. I also saw how an unexpected cup of coffee could really turn someone’s day around. My dad knows how all his best friends take their coffee, so anytime we’d visit he’d have one in hand for them!

Once I started college, I quickly surveyed where the closest Dunkin’ Donuts location was in order to get a taste of home, but also get my daily dose of DD. Luckily for me, DD is the most prominent coffee shop in Maine so I had many in a short radius to choose from. These frequent cups of joe kept me charged through four years of late night study sessions, countless hours of marketing projects and two part-time jobs. So much that when I walked up on stage to accept my college diploma, Dunkin’ Donuts should have had an honorary mention, haha!

Now post-college, I’m busier than ever. Between my marketing career, owning a small business, putting my fitness as a priority and planning a wedding, my schedule requires me to stay energized all day.
