30% Off Flower Fluid Pants!

Happy Friday! Ever since shooting this look, I’ve been so excited to share it. Today ended up being perfect because almost each piece is ON SALE! Woop.

Let’s start is off with these super comfy wedges! They are currently 25% off today and come in four colors – black, red , palm print and ivory [what I’m wearing]. While I’m not a “shoe girl” [who else is a handbag girl!?], I am very picky when it comes to the ones I wear. I only keep shoes that are versatile and comfortable. If a shoe is not comfy, I will not wear them they immediately get returned to the store.

I do have to say that platform wedges may be my favorite type of shoe. Maybe it’s the 90’s baby in me, but they add a touch of fun spunk to any outfit. Last summer I live in these espadrille platforms, but this summer these wedges will be shoe glued to my feet! A good wedge of platform adds length to your legs and is overall simply slimming.

Wedges are typically very comfortable, but this pair has a cushioned sole and they feel like walking on clouds! I also enjoy the height. I’m not one to wear a heel over 3″ because then I’m simply too tall. These are an ideal height to lengthen your legs and add a touch of cute to any sundress this summer. This blush pair and this retro pair are both on my wish list!

This ivory blouse is such a great piece versatile top to have in your closet. I love having neutrals blouses hung in my closet to pair with fun printed skirts for the office or fun pants like these! The shoulder ruffle detailing makes it have a touch of femininity. The length is also great to wear untucked with a pair of classic skinny jeans. And lastly, the star of today’s outfit – these fun flower fluid pants. Say that three times fast, hehe. Right when I saw them on the rack, I knew they were goig home with me! While I think petite girls had their moment with the ankle pant trend [that was legit two years of me not being able to find pants that didn’t look like high waters on my long legs!!], tall girls are living out some fun with fluid pants and culottes.

Fluid pants are pants that have an abundance of soft, loose fabric, a relaxed fit and typically have an elastic waist band. I LOVE THEM! I grabbed a pair last year from the same retailer and wore them all summer to work with a cami and cardigan. It’s like working in pjs. Who doesn’t wanna go to the office in pjs!?

So for this pair, I love the print. The dark green with topical flowers is super cute. The fun thing about floral prints is that whatever colored top you wear will pull that color from the print. So today I am wearing an ivory top, which them makes the eye pull the ivory details from the pants. I have this flutter sleeve blouse that I’ll pair with them next week which will pull the blue! I suggest going down one size in them as well. Oh and petite ladies!! You can get in on this trend because this retailer is awesome and offers these pants in petite as well.

I hope you guys have the best weekend! S and I don’t have any plans which is so rare. We get super excited come Thursday night when we realize we don’t have anything for the weekend ahead! Don’t get me wrong, I’m a social butterfly and love nothing more than plans scheduled and visiting people, but sometimes having nothing set on the calendar is wicked refreshing. We’ll have a date night [patio weather is finally here people!!!], shoot some blog content and who knows what else will come up 🙂

I mentioned in this post, that I try to not have a busy weekend if I’ll be traveling the following week. This way I get all my Sergio and Muenster time!! While I’m a huge extrovert and actually find it really fun to travel solo, I just miss S and Muenster so much when I travel. Literally like tow weeks before a trip, I will tell them I miss them and I’m not even anywhere near leaving yet. Maybe I’m just weird haha. I wish I could pack them in my suit case everywhere I go.

Anyways, I’m traveling to Austin next week for work and am super excited! S is in busy season, so we couldn’t make a long weekend trip work with his schedule, but we are already planning a trip this fall for us to go to Austin together! I’m so excited to eat some BBQ and hang with my awesome coworkers, YA’LL [just kidding on the ya’ll part.. can us Northerner’s say that when we visit? 😆 jkjk].
