If I could live in any fashion decade other than now – it’d be the 60’s! A line mini skirts, chunky Twiggy eyelashes, collared shift dresses, pin straight hair, textured tights, monochromatic outfits and later in the decade – big old sunglasses! During the 60’s and 70’s, omen started breaking the barrier for how we were “supposed” to dress and took fashion risks – many of them, we still see today!

While my sunnies may lean more towards the70’s, paired with s sleek pony and ruffles top – it reminds me of Twiggy just a tad!
I LOVE this top. Since I keep my bottoms pretty basic with jeans, denim shorts, or chinos, playing up blouses if what keeps my closet fun. When you have a collection of neutral, versatile bottoms, you can get funky with your tops and accessories. Sadly my top in this exact color sold out super fast, but I’ll link it here since this retailer does frequent restocks. The same style, but navy/white combo is just as cute and still in stock! It’s a catch under $50. For sizing, I’m wearing a small.
Since the blouse color was blue, white skinnies [under $50 and smooth you out] or colorful shorts [run true to size] were what I debated between. With the humidity lately, I decided on these amazing chino shorts! They run true to size, come in lots of colors and have a great length and rise. And they are 50% off today

SHOP MY $20 SHORTS

For a touch of summer, I threw on my all time favorite straw slides. This retailer has free two day shipping! They are my favorites when I’m feeling uninspired because they have fun, feminine pieces all over their site. I always shop them before vacation too since the shipping is so good. Sometimes my order is delivered in less than 24 hours!

I’m headed to Charleston next week (!!!!!!) and definitely placing and order today for bright, summery dresses. These slides also have finally been released at Nordstrom which you can shop here. I grabbed my normal size and they fit great. I was apprehensive that the straw would be flimsy our get worn down super fast, but they have no wear and tear after I’ve lived in them for three months. Super high quality!

Thanks so much for stopping by. I just wanted to note that your support means so much to me. I have been blown away by my page views and analytics lately. Every time you read a blog post, like and Instagram photo or make a purchase from one of my outfits – you’re providing so much support to my little nook of the internet and it means more than you can imagine!
