8 Feminine Loft Pieces to Mix and Match – ON SALE!

Whether I’m casually window shopping with a girlfriend or heading to a retailer’s website with a purpose, work wear is always top of mind.

While my intent for stoping into Loft was to find a few new office pieces, everything I grabbed can actually be worn for many different professions and lifestyle types.. on the weekend, in the classroom or to church! As I was eagerly heading for the cashier, in typical Mindy fashion, my clumsiness snapped a hanger in the midst of it. Yeah – you don’t want to be seen with my in public apparently! Whoops!

Below as I break down sizing, details and pricing of everything I purcahsed. I’m doing an Instagram stories try on as well to talk through them 🙂

FLORAL EYELET DRESS: SHOP NOW

SIZING: For the structure of the dress, it runs true to size. Here’s the catch.. even though I consider myself tall at 5’7″, Loft dresses are always long on me. From running, I have thick calves so I like my dresses to hit me right above the knee rather than lower. My trick? I grab the ‘petite’ size, rather than head to my tailor.

DETAILS: THe duty blue hue is so gorg. For work or church, I’d paired it with this light cardigan and these neutral heels.

COZY GREY CARDIGAN: SHOP NOW

ORIGINAL PRICE: $70, WEEKEND SALE PRICE: $42

SIZING: I went down one size. I’m looking to wear this for work, so I wanted a traditional fit to look put together, not oversized. If you are buying this to be comfy cozy with leggings, I’d suggest getting your normal size!

DETAILS: I love the grey hue.. versatile! The material is thicker and more sweater like than this other cardi I bought, but not so much that it’s bulky or too thick for fall!

ESSENTIAL CLEAN CAMI: SHOP NOW

SIZING: Mine fit true to size! They are not skin tight, but aren’t baggy. The perfect fit! I will note, I am very small chested so if you are more very well endowed in he chest, you may need to go up one size.

DETAILS: I own these in every color because they are the only cami I like due to the fit and quality. I find the white, off white and nude the three I reach for most. Like I mentioned up in sizing, they aren’t skin tight and uncomfortable, but aren’t baggy and unflattering!

For work, I’m going to tuck this cami into this skirt and throw on this layer!

POCKET PULL ON SKIRT: SHOP NOW

SIZING: Fits true to size. It have an elastic waist making it apply to stretch too! The length is also great as it reaches just to my knees in the front.

DETAILS: I’m dusty blue obsessed. The color can actually serve as a neutral. To style this skirt, you could pair a solid navy, blush pink and, of course, white blouse tucked in. Or you could throw on a cami and any of the caridgans in today’s post for a warmer, transitional fall look.

SIZING: I went down one size for a more traditional fit. Grab your normal size if you want it larger to layer with leggings.

DETAILS: In this post I talked all about cardigans and how the perfect one [versatile and cute, yet put together] is hard to find. All three in today’s post are perfect-o in the world of cardigans – no pocked creating bulk at your hips and no distracting buttons! This one is a gorgeous blush that is oh so feminine. It’s available in grey too!

The material is sweater-like, but thinner than the one above and thicker than the one below.

DOUBLE LINED CAMI: SHOP NOW

SIZING: Fits true to size.

DETAILS: A traditional cotton cami just doesn’t work with every occasion or outfit. I love keeping these on deck to instantly dress up an outfit just a tad. It’s double lined [key for ivory/white!], very flowy and an ideal length. I wear them under blazers for work, with the front tucked into jeans for the weekend and layered with a cardigan for church.

The quality and versatility makesthem 100% worth are worth the $24. You can grab it in black as well.

SIZING: Runs one size small so I went up one size.

DETAILS: It’s so funny because I tried on a bunch of work wear pieces in store and none were hits, but then this piece caught my eye and inspired me! From there, I found every piece in today’s post. It just sparked something in me after feeling blah.

Floral skirts are very fun because you can make a lot of outfits with them. Each time you wear it, you can pull a different color from the design to accentuate depending on your top! If you throw on a blush knit, ivory blouse or light yellow sweater – you feel like you’re wearing a new outfit every single time, but in reality have only spent money on one skirt.. not three!

SIZING: I went down one size.

DETAILS: I really enjoy each cardigan in today’s post [again – I’m picky on cardis!!], but this one is my favorite because it’s super light weight so you can wear it year round as a layer! It’s the perfect little piece to throw in your tote to the office or football games during transitional seasons. You can grab it in black and maroon as well.

I’m layering mine over this dress for one outfit next week while in Denver for work! I’ll also layer it over this cami that’ll be tucked into this skirt to get double use. It pulls the pink in the skirt beautifully.
