brithday-28-900

Happy Monday! Saturday was my 28th birthday and I had such a wonderful weekend celebrating with S and Cheese.

When S asked what I wanted for my birthday this year, I just said quality time. We have both been working really late the last few months so a day with him is all I wanted.

I had told S a couple weeks ago that I planned to take the Friday before my birthday off. I was just going to relax and lounge with my Muenster. Well, after waking up I found a birthday card on the table with the sweetest note and an afternoon at the spa booked (!!!!!!). OMGGGG. Needless to say Friday was even more relaxing then I could have planned with a massage and mani 🙂

On Saturday, S has a day full of fun planned, but I didn’t know what each was until we got there. If you couldn’t tell, I love surprises!

He surprised me with having breakfast at my favorite Boston cafe, Ogawa, a trip to the New England Aquarium, more coffee at the Thinking Cup, dinner in the North End and a comedy show at Laugh Boston. We ended the night with Ben&Jerry’s milkshakes while driving home with a few snowflakes which kicked off a cozy blizzard for Sunday. We had a blast! Oh and GO PATS!

Each year I’m not sure what to post for a birthday blog post because I find “28 facts about me” awkward. Honestly, I don’t find myself interesting enough to find that many things to share lol.

Instead, I figured I’d share some of what we did since I know a lot of local New England girls read here.

Anywho, 27 was a really fun and sweet year. I hope that life stays this sweet for the big 2-8 🙂

I hope you have a wonderful Monday! Xo Mindy
