5 Summer Anthropologie Finds I’m Loving

While I’m a total Millenial online shopper fanatic, I like a rare in store visit at times too!

I feel like when I take a peek inside the mall, I reach for pieces I normally wouldn’t order online. I don’t know why – I just hate doing returns! I dread it more than the dentist lol.

I chatted in this recent blog post that I often avoid taking fashion “risks” online and often to lean towards just ordering what I know will work for my body type – those tried and true brands and styles – to avoid returns. But what fun is fashion if you don’t step outside your comfort zone?! That’s why I head to a few stores every so often at my local mall.

The key to mall shopping is going during the week to avoid bumping elbows with other shoppers and to go solo. AKA no cute husband waiting *patiently*, but not so patiently outside lol. S requires in store seating and only Loft and J.Crew have that 😆 When shopping with a guy you quickly realize that you need to be efficient and strategic. You zip in, grab what you need and zip out. S energy level for shopping is 0%, but for me he makes an exception and it’s at like 15% and dwindles real fast.

I also feel like when I’m shopping, I either find nothing or find arm fulls of cute pieces. Summer is not only my favorite season, it’s my favorite fashion season as well. I could live in denim cut offs and breezy white tops. Maybe that’s why I found so many cute things lately!

ONE// THIS EMBROIDERED BOHO BLOUSE: SHOP
The detailing on this top is so beautiful. It’s a cream color and the embroidery is a mix of olive greens and oranges. Those accent colors will allow this top to move from summer to fall easily. I can see it styled with olive green Chino pants and brown riding boots. I went down one size and it’s perfectly flowy. I think if you have a baby bump, this would be perfect i your normal size!

TWO// FRINGED PEACHY PONCHO: SHOP
I’ve already worn this cutie pie poncho twice since buying it last week and it’s just super cute. I love that you can style it now with denim cut offs, in the spring with white skinny jeans or in the fall with dark wash flare denim. It’s light enough for New England summer now that the humidity is gone! It’s been August weather lately [which means humidity], but luckily it’s one away.

THREE // WHITE EMBROIDERED BLOUSE: SHOP
I’m a sucker for white tops. Are you?! They are so crisp and just effortlessly summer. This feminine top was an immediate yes right when I saw it on the rack and of course it looked cute on so I had to get it. S commented on it the other day as well 🙂 It’s another year round piece that will also be used for the office!

FOUR // BOYFRIEND DENIM SHORTS: SHOP
For under $80, these denim shorts are really great! The color will go with just about anything you reach for in your closet, the silhouette is flattering and the fit it perfect – mid rise [says hi rise, but it’s more of a mid] with a perfect modest length.

FIVE // LUCIT CRESCENT HOOP EARRINGS: SHOP
Love me a dainty gold hoop! This pair adds a pop of trendy lucite detailing, while being very chic. They are super light too.
