Hi guys! I hope you had a wonderful weekend. We had one filled with friends, celebrations and family time. It doesn’t get much better that that!
On Friday I had a surprise dinner reserved at a yummy Italian restaurant to celebrate something very exciting for my sweet husband. I can’t say much at this point, but he deserved to be spoiled 🙂 We enjoyed some yummy pasta and a bottle of Chardonnay.
Then on Saturday we had my bestie Rachel’s 30th birthday party which was such a blast! For dinner we hopped over to Assembly Square with our besties Hayden and Taryn for BBQ food at Southern Kin. If you live in Boston, you need to try this spot. I had the vegan meal this time around which was really great, but I highly recommend their biscuits, mac and cheese and the chicken and waffles! So, so good.
On Sunday S and I gutted our walk in closet. Oh what a task that was! It’s still under construction, but already so much more organized. I’m in the process of listing a lot of clothes, handbags, shoes and unused beauty products on my Poshmark account. You can check it out here! I’ve tried using this in the past, but just couldn’t juggle it on top of everything else I had going on. S took on managing the sales and logistics which is so nice of him. He has a spreadsheet and everything 😛
We also shot a lot of content for the blog yesterday – including this cute casual summer look!
When I saw this cute emerald tank, I grabbed it up. The emerald color is what originally caught my eye. I only own one other piece in this color and am always reaching for it! Plus, ruffle detailing is so feminine.
If you click here to see the item details, you’ll see that the ruffle detail moves down the front in a V shape. How cute it it?! Plus the dainty, eyelet adds a pop of texture. LOVE!
I knew I wanted to throw on a denim skirt while running errands and the two paired together perfectly. While my denim skirt is from last year, the retailer released the each skirt just in a tad darker wash here. This one is very similar and looks stretchy and comfy.
I can see it paired so many other ways too! Like with white denim skinnies, distressed denim shorts [my all time fave!] or even with my favorite black slacks for the office. When I know I can get use out of a top for weekend and work, I can justify the price tag a bit more!
To top off the look, I wanted to wear this velvet crossbody, so I played off the black with these flats [mine are matte, but linked the ones available which are glossy]. Here is a designer dupe for them from a brand a lot of bloggers fave about! Ad of course the sunglasses that are glued to my face- these aviators!
I really need a pair of black flats, but I’ll wait util the NSale on Thursday to see if there are any on sale!
Thanks so much for stopping by and reading! I hope you have the best Monday! Xo Mindy
