I hope you had a wonderful holiday! I have two weeks off from work which is really allowing me to unwind, be with loved ones and also get ahead on blog content! I hope you have been able to take some time off and relax before the New Year hits.

Each quarter I spend time digging through my analytics to understand what blog posts preformed well, what products sold and, in turn, plan my editorial calendar for the quarter ahead. Q4 is my favorite reflection because I look back on the entire year!

And wow….

While people say blogs are dying, my data certainly says otherwise and I wanted to say THANK YOU. My readership is up 30% from last year to this year and my sales are up by 25%.

1. Optimizing Closet Space with The Container Store
This project was so fun! We overhauled the closet in my office to be a functioning functioning, organized space. If you’ve ever considered doing this, I’d check out this blog post I created that houses a lot of information on creating a custom Elfa closet from the Container Store. In the Spring I snagged the API Techloom Bliss sneaker which I’d been eyeing for months. Well, fast forward to now and we have three pairs in our household because they are so comfortable, stylish and easy to slip on and off.

I also share my favorite hair ties that are a total game changer, in not only holding your style, but also for building up volume.  6. I Used Natural Deodorant for a Year & Here’s What Happened
Whether you’re thinking of switching to natural deodorant or looking for a new brand to test, I shared all my findings after using it for a year. This is the brand that worked best for me, but I’ve heard that this is one product that may take a lot of tries to land on the right one for your unique body chemistry. Most options made me develop a rash, but this one was very gentle, kept any smell at bay (lol) and one bottle lasts a very long time (6+ months for me). They just launched at Ulta which makes accessing it very easy now. 7. 10 Favorite Amazon Purchases
